Asia Pacific Aircraft Component Services and STRADE Forge Long-term Consignment Agreement to Optimise Aircraft Component Services
SINGAPORE, 27 SEPTEMBER 2023 —
Asia Pacific Aircraft Component Services Sdn. Bhd. (“APACS”), a subsidiary of SIA Engineering Company Limited (“SIAEC”) and joint venture with SR Technics Switzerland, has entered into a consignment agreement with STRADE Ltd. (“STRADE”), a global specialist in aircraft asset management. This strategic partnership aims to maximise the value of aircraft components owned by APACS through STRADE’s innovative solutions to meet the evolving market needs for aircraft components. The agreement is for a term of three years, with an option for further extensions.
Under this agreement, STRADE will actively manage APACS’ aircraft components to optimise the efficiency of its utilisation. STRADE will leverage its extensive expertise and worldwide reach to market these components through various channels, including sales, leasing and exchange services over the forthcoming years.
