Our people are our strength

Excellence is one of APACS’ core values – and our people are the key to consistently achieving and exceeding our high standards.

We are guided by the principles of inclusion, opportunity and respect for ourselves and all employees. Our leaders do so by example and create an environment where employees are encouraged to voice their opinions and empowered to be autonomous in their decision-making. APACS practises a fully inclusive hiring policy, where the best candidate is selected based on skill and experience; never race, religion, or personal beliefs.

Work-life balance

Our working practices are flexible and sensible. We eliminate unnecessary bureaucracy, create direct channels to senior management, and champion a healthy work-life balance. APACS implements special procedures with sensitivity and care to support those struggling physically or mentally.

Life-long training

To maintain these standards, APACS provides constant and thorough training. We consult with our employees to determine their development priorities and provide extra training to high performers alongside a personalised company career path. Line Managers drive daily performance dialogues and toolbox briefings to engage operational employees on work issues. We conduct regular employee surveys to gather feedback in the pursuit of continuous improvement.

Our commitment to sustainability

APACS is committed to a net-zero future. With an international legacy in the aviation industry, we understand the sector's impact on global carbon emissions. As the world wakes up to the effects of climate change, we are conscious of our role in reducing our carbon footprint and have targeted to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.

To this end, we have launched a comprehensive review of our greenhouse gas emissions inventory to identify the levers for decarbonisation. Understanding these inputs will facilitate the development of a feasible pathway to achieve this target. We are determined to work closely with our internal and external stakeholders to reduce our energy consumption and contribute to a cleaner, greener future.
